Chapter 18

The most important thing about writing a research paper is the purpose. The purpose is what affect the readers and how you display it has a huge impact as well. You’ll want to have it visually appealing. Something’s to think about though as you go about accomplishing your goal is the format and text style. Make sure the document is all aligned in an eye appealing way. Have the pictures and titles in places that make sense. Make your heading and title stand out. If you want to tie in a picture or chart, it’s important to place it in a position that doesn’t take away from or distract the reader for the point. Some readers enjoy consistency in reading. Meaning they want the titles to align and the pictures or charts to be someone in the same places throughout the document. That is, if there is more than one image or chart, ECT.

I haven’t come a crossed any types of pictures or visual effects to incorporate into my research paper. I’d like to find something that pulls the reader in by an emotional context. So maybe I need to find a broken family picture and say “is this the life you live with your family?”
